Quantum Source Labs, in collaboration with the Israel Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D), has successfully demonstrated a deterministic platform for generating high-quality polarization-entangled photon pairs. The photons maintained fidelity after transmission through over one kilometer of unstabilized optical fiber without active stabilization, indicating significant potential for practical quantum communication systems.
The technology simplifies deployment by eliminating the need for continuous polarization compensation, thus enhancing robustness and scalability.
