Quezon, a town in southern Bukidnon, has been declared insurgency-free, becoming the 10th locality in the province to achieve this status. The declaration was made during a ceremony led by Mayor Pablo Lorenzo III, with participation from the Army's 1003rd Brigade, Bukidnon Police, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

Oliver S. Navales highlighted the declaration as a collective victory that opens opportunities for education and economic growth. The event included the signing of a persona non grata declaration against the communist movement and the release of white doves as a symbol of peace.
