RAAF Base Amberley Upgrades Support Defence MAN Truck Operations
DEFENSE
RAAF Base Amberley has opened new infrastructure to improve operations for Defence's MAN truck drivers, including a weighbridge for large vehicle combinations and an upgraded vehicle wash point. A tanker-loading arm has been installed for 9th Force Support Battalion's fuel trucks, eliminating the need for a two-hour fuel round trip.
The facilities were designed in collaboration with contractors Cushman & Wakefield and DDR, accommodating all Defence vehicles. The upgrades were part of the Army Estate Capability Program, enhancing infrastructure across multiple RAAF bases.
