RAAF Base Amberley Upgrades Support Defence MAN Truck Operations
RAAF Base Amberley has unveiled new infrastructure to enhance operations for Defence's MAN truck drivers, including a weighbridge for large vehicles and an upgraded vehicle wash point. Additionally, a tanker-loading arm has been installed for the 9th Force Support Battalion's fuel trucks, significantly reducing fuel transport time. These upgrades, part of the Army Estate Capability Program, were developed in collaboration with contractors Cushman & Wakefield and DDR to support all Defence vehicles.

A tanker-loading arm has been installed for 9th Force Support Battalion's fuel trucks, eliminating the need for a two-hour fuel round trip.
The facilities were designed in collaboration with contractors Cushman & Wakefield and DDR, accommodating all Defence vehicles. The upgrades were part of the Army Estate Capability Program, enhancing infrastructure across multiple RAAF bases.
