Raytheon Advances to Full-Rate Production of AN/SPY-6 Radar for US Navy
Raytheon has moved to full-rate production of the AN/SPY-6 radar systems following successful operational testing with the Missile Defense Agency and the US Navy on DDG 128. The company aims to enhance cost efficiency at its Andover, Massachusetts facility, while addressing potential modifications for integration with the Baseline 10 Aegis Combat System and completing additional work on DDG 126 before its commissioning.
