Reach Subsea Secures Contract for Pipeline Inspection in Norway Using USV Technology
Reach Subsea has been awarded a contract by Equinor for the external inspection of approximately 3,500 kilometers of pipeline in Norway and export routes to Denmark, Germany, and the UK. The inspection will utilize Reach Remote 1, a fully qualified uncrewed surface vessel (USV) solution, and the company's high-speed survey SROV capability. Reach Remote 1 has received a Cargo Ship Trading Certificate from the Norwegian Maritime Authority, enabling full commercial operations in European waters.
