Realta Fusion Partners with CFS for HTS Magnet Supply
Realta Fusion has partnered with CFS to develop high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets for its fusion pilot plant, aiming for delivery by the mid-2030s. This collaboration could reach a multi-billion-dollar valuation and is pivotal for advancing commercial fusion energy technology.

Realta Fusion has engaged CFS to develop high-temperature superconducting magnets for its planned fusion pilot plant, targeting mid-2030s delivery. CFS has previously supplied superconducting magnets that achieved a record 17 Tesla magnetic field strength during plasma confinement at the WHAM project.
CFS is also constructing its SPARC facility and plans to start its ARC fusion power plant in Virginia by 2028. This partnership signifies a substantial step in securing the supply chain for fusion technology, which is critical for Realta's development. The collaboration may accelerate the commercialization of fusion energy, driven by the combined expertise in advanced manufacturing and technology integration.
