Red Hat has partnered with Navantia, a Spanish naval and defense public company, to enhance the development and deployment of its systems. This collaboration enables Navantia to innovate within the defense sector and maintain operational continuity for systems expected to last over three decades.

To tackle challenges related to evolving hardware and software dependencies, Navantia has implemented Red Hat's open source solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift, for application management and virtualization. This common platform approach enhances control, automates deployments, and increases operational efficiency and resilience.

Navantia is also advancing simulation and management tools focused on predictive maintenance and operational efficiency. Future plans include further integrating these solutions into Navantia's operating systems to support ongoing digital transformation.
