Reliable Robotics and the Albuquerque Aviation Department have been selected for the FAA's Advanced Air Mobility Integration Pilot Program to deploy technologies enhancing regional air freight safety. The program will use autonomous aircraft to connect Albuquerque with other Four Corners communities, representing the first commercial air freight operation by a large Unmanned Aircraft System in the U.S.
Reliable's systems are designed to reduce common aviation accident causes. Reliable Airlines, a subsidiary of Reliable Robotics, will conduct autonomous freight operations from Albuquerque International Sunport to Durango-La Plata County and Santa Fe airports. The initiative collaborates with various public sector partners and aims to contribute to aviation regulation development.
