Revithousa LNG Terminal Receives American LNG Cargo to Boost Energy Supply in Southeastern Europe
The Revithousa LNG terminal in Greece is set to receive American LNG cargoes by year-end, bolstering its position as a key energy hub for Southeastern Europe. The deliveries aim to support power producers amid rising electricity demand due to colder weather, with a recent shipment from the Cheikh Bouamama tanker delivering 534 million kWh of liquefied natural gas.

The Revithousa LNG terminal in the Saronic Gulf is set to receive American LNG cargoes before year-end, enhancing its role as an energy gateway for Greece and Southeastern Europe. Increased LNG deliveries are aimed at power producers to meet rising electricity demand due to colder temperatures. On December 20, the Cheikh Bouamama tanker unloaded a cargo containing 534 million kWh of liquefied natural gas at the terminal.
