Rheinmetall Advances F-35A Program with AERO-Bildungs GmbH Partnership
Rheinmetall has contracted AERO-Bildungs GmbH to deliver technical training for F-35A production mechanics, marking a significant step in integrating German industry into the F-35A supply chain. This initiative aims to enhance local value within the program, with production facilities expected to commence operations in summer 2025.

Rheinmetall has engaged AERO-Bildungs GmbH for technical training of mechanics involved in the F-35A program, set to begin in April 2024 at the Weeze site. The company is establishing a factory in North Rhine-Westphalia, with plans to produce over 400 center fuselage sections by summer 2025.
Significant infrastructure improvements are underway, with completion expected by spring 2025. The first deliveries are projected for the first quarter of 2027. AERO-Bildung, founded in 2003, has extensive experience in aircraft training and has been recognized under various aviation standards since 1984. This collaboration may enhance Rheinmetall's position in the defense sector, but dependence on timely infrastructure completion poses potential risks.
