Rincon Research Corporation plans to invest $144,755,651 over the next 20 years in Salt Lake County, Utah, supported by a tax incentive from the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development. The expansion is expected to create 125 new jobs, contributing an estimated $612.5 million in wages and nearly $21 million in state tax revenue.
The company will focus on utilizing local STEM graduates to fill roles in areas such as RF sensing and artificial intelligence. Additionally, Rincon aims to establish university partnerships and participate in the Department of Defense's SkillBridge program to aid transitioning service members. This expansion could strengthen the local economy and enhance the defense contractor's capabilities.
