DEFENSE

Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi's campaign has been relocated to Nadunget town council on January 6, 2026, due to the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) occupying the original site at Naitakwae village, approximately four kilometers from Moroto town. The UPDF's 3rd Infantry Division, represented by Maj. Godfrey Kashaka, stated that they secured the grounds in December 2025 and were not informed of the National Unity Platform (NUP) activities planned for January 6.
