Robert Kyagulanyi's Campaign Venue Moved to Nadunget Due to UPDF Occupation in Moroto
Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi's campaign has been moved to Nadunget town council on January 6, 2026, due to the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) occupying the original venue at Naitakwae village near Moroto. The UPDF's 3rd Infantry Division, led by Maj. Godfrey Kashaka, stated they secured the site in December 2025 and were unaware of the planned National Unity Platform (NUP) activities.

Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi's campaign has been relocated to Nadunget town council on January 6, 2026, due to the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) occupying the original site at Naitakwae village, approximately four kilometers from Moroto town. The UPDF's 3rd Infantry Division, represented by Maj. Godfrey Kashaka, stated that they secured the grounds in December 2025 and were not informed of the National Unity Platform (NUP) activities planned for January 6.
