Shanghai RoboParty Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced ROBOTO ORIGIN, the first full-stack open-source bipedal humanoid robot, completed in just 120 days. This prototype is not intended for commercial use but aims to validate humanoid robotics capabilities and foster collaboration in the industry.

The company, founded by Yi Huang and supported by a $10 million seed round from MPCi and Xiaomi, plans to expand its developer community and achieve small-scale commercialization by 2026. The robot stands 1.25m tall, weighs 34kg, and runs at 3m/s, featuring an advanced gait algorithm. RoboParty's strategy aims to cut development costs by 80% and build a leading platform for humanoid robots.
