Romania Confirms Sufficient Natural Gas Reserves Amid Cold Weather Forecast
Romania's Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan stated that the country has adequate natural gas reserves to handle the upcoming cold winter, with temperatures potentially dropping to -20°C. He also indicated that natural gas prices are not expected to rise following the removal of the compensation scheme on April 1.
Additionally, Romania will modernize 15 kilometers of road in Ukraine as part of the Suceava-Siret Express Road project, financed by the EU-backed SAFE fund. The National Railway Company CFR has commenced a EUR 100 million restoration of Bucharest's Gara de Nord train station.
