Romania to Reallocate EUR 2.8 Billion in EU Funds for Cohesion Policy Revision
Romania plans to reallocate over EUR 2.8 billion from EU funds to address four new priorities under the revised Cohesion Policy for 2021-2027. Key allocations include EUR 1.53 billion for competitiveness and strategic technologies, EUR 904 million for defense and crisis preparedness, EUR 208 million for housing, and EUR 200 million for water infrastructure. This reallocation also supports projects in digitalization and health, with specific funds designated for military mobility and social housing development.
