Roofit.Solar has launched its building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) technology in the US, with its first project in Kalamazoo, Michigan, installed by Agathon Solar. The BIPV array, rated at 12.32 kW, employs Roofit.Solar's Velario technology, which combines standing seam metal sheets with monocrystalline solar cells.

ArcEdge has entered a partnership with Roofit.Solar to provide these integrated solutions, catering to a market demand for aesthetically appealing solar options. This launch comes amid recent setbacks in the US solar shingle market, including the closures of SunTegra and GAF Energy.
