Rostec Unveils BT-3F Amphibious Armoured Personnel Carrier at Army-2019
Rostec presents the BT-3F amphibious armoured personnel carrier, featuring a dual-plane stabilised remotely-operated weapon station. It aims to enhance operational capabilities for marine and ground forces with advanced firing systems and improved crew safety.

Rostec State Corporation introduced the BT-3F amphibious armoured personnel carrier at the Army-2019 forum. The vehicle features a remotely-operated weapon station equipped with a 12.7 mm Kord machine gun, enhanced aiming capabilities, and a laser rangefinder.
Designed on a BMP-3 chassis, the BT-3F can transport 17 personnel and provide fire support. Key innovations include energy-absorbing seats for crew protection and a modular air conditioning system for tropical operations.
In April, Rosoboronexport secured a supply contract with Indonesia's Ministry of Defence, marking an initial step towards international deployment. The emphasis on advanced combat functionality may enhance Rostec's competitive edge in the global defence market.
