Rostec Unveils BT-3F Armoured Personnel Carrier at Army-2019 Forum
Rostec introduced the BT-3F amphibious armoured personnel carrier, enhancing its competitive position in the global defense market. Following a supply contract with Indonesia, international deployment efforts are underway.

The BT-3F armoured personnel carrier is based on the BMP-3 chassis and is designed to transport 17 personnel while offering fire support. It features a remotely-operated weapon station with a 12.7 mm Kord machine gun, advanced aiming capabilities, and a laser rangefinder.
Key innovations include energy-absorbing seats for crew protection and a modular air conditioning system suitable for tropical environments. In April, Rosoboronexport signed a contract with Indonesia's Ministry of Defence, initiating international deployment plans. The focus on advanced combat functionality may boost Rostec's position in the competitive defense industry.
