Rostec's Defense Strategy and Civil Transport Plans Outlined
Rostec aims to fulfill a 99.5% defense procurement rate to support military efforts in Ukraine. The company plans to produce multiple aircraft models and electric buses, enhancing defense and civil transport capabilities.

Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov announced the company's fulfillment rate for defense procurement stands at 99.5%, with 100% completion for key models. The corporation is supplying the Sarma MLRS and developing the Scalpel UAV, enhancing military capabilities.
Certification for the MS-21 aircraft will be completed in Q1 2027, with plans for 36 units by 2030. The Mi-171A3 helicopter is set for mass production this year, while the SSJ-100 will begin production in 2027.
Additionally, 700 A5 generation electric buses, with a domestic battery range of 110 kilometers, will be delivered to Moscow by 2027. This diversified production strategy may improve both defense readiness and civil transport infrastructure.
