RTX Reports 2025 Earnings with Growth Driven by Commercial Aerospace and Pratt GTF Recovery
RTX reported a 2025 revenue of approximately $88.6 billion, a 10% increase year-over-year, with a book-to-bill ratio of 1.56 and a backlog of $268 billion. Commercial orders accounted for $161 billion and defense awards totaled $107 billion.
Pratt & Whitney saw demand for the GTF engine family remain strong, with more than 1,500 GTF engines ordered. The GTF program is projected to improve margins as the company transitions to the GTF Advantage engine, which received EU certification.
Collins Aerospace generated $30.2 billion in sales, up 7%, focusing on margin improvements. RTX forecasts 2026 revenue between $92 billion and $93 billion, reflecting anticipated growth across commercial OE and aftermarket segments.
