RTX Secures $206.23M Contract for Navy GPS System Integration
RTX has been awarded a $206.23 million contract for the development of M-Code GPS capabilities for the Navy. The project underscores significant advancements in precision landing systems and will conclude by April 2030.

RTX has received a $206.23 million cost-plus-incentive-fee contract from the Naval Air Systems Command. The contract entails the design, engineering, integration, testing, and validation of M-Code GPS capabilities into the AN/USN-31 Joint Precision Approach and Landing System, alongside the procurement of four engineering development models.
Funding includes $11.5 million from FY26 research, development, test, and evaluation, which will be allocated at the time of the award and does not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was awarded without competition and is slated for completion in April 2030. The implications for defense technology and military operations are significant, particularly in enhancing navigation and precision landing capabilities.
