RTX Secures Up to $230.56M Contract for F135 Lot 20 Propulsion Systems
RTX has been awarded a contract worth up to $230.56 million for long lead time materials and components for F135 Lot 20 propulsion systems, supporting the production of 138 units for the Marine Corps, Navy, and US Air Force, as well as foreign military partners. The contract was issued by the Naval Air Systems Command in Maryland and includes funding from fiscal year 2025 allocations and foreign military sales.

RTX has obtained a contract valued at up to $230.56 million for long lead materials and components necessary for F135 Lot 20 propulsion systems. This contract supports the production of 138 propulsion units for the Marine Corps, Navy, US Air Force, and foreign military sales customers.
Issued by the Naval Air Systems Command in Maryland, the contract is a fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-incentive-fee agreement and was not subject to competition. Production will occur across various US locations, supported by $35.22 million from the Air Force and $26.63 million from the Navy, along with $42.68 million from non-US DoD partners and $126.03 million from foreign military sales, with no funds expiring at the end of the fiscal year.
