RTX, through Raytheon ELCAN, has been awarded a contract to supply customized Specter® DR 1-4x weapon sights to the German Armed Forces. The contract, developed in coordination with Leonardo Germany, aims to enhance Germany's soldier system capabilities.

This customized variant includes an Aimpoint® reflex sight for versatile engagement. Demand for the Specter® DR family has surged, with more than 100,000 sights ordered by Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, and Finland since August 2024, totaling over €193 million. The Specter® DR remains a trusted solution for NATO and allied forces.
