Russia and Serbia have signed an economic cooperation program for 2026-2031, focusing on various sectors including energy and technology. This agreement aims to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance trade between the two nations.

Russia and Serbia formalized an economic cooperation program for 2026-2031 in Belgrade, led by Russia's Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov. The agreement includes extensions for natural gas supply contracts until June 30, 2026, and outlines collaboration in traditional sectors like energy and transportation, alongside emerging areas such as space and low-carbon development.
Additionally, five memorandums covering crop protection, winemaking, and medical product safety were signed. Projects worth over $1 billion have been initiated in Serbian railway infrastructure, with future plans for reconstruction involving potential collaboration with Chinese partners. The agreements indicate a commitment to enhancing bilateral trade and cooperation.
