The Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol, part of the Almaz-Antey Group, has launched production of the seaborne Tor-M2KM air defense system for Russian naval ships, with delivery of the initial batch set for 2025. CEO Fanil Ziyatdinov confirmed that the Tor-MF surface-to-air missile system is also under development for naval integration. The Tor air defense systems are currently operational to protect critical facilities on the front lines and in the rear, with ongoing upgrades and modifications informed by military operations.
