Russian Drone Attacks in Ukraine: Casualties and Military Developments
A Russian drone strike in Odesa injured 14 people, while a Ukrainian drone attack in Kherson killed two. The ongoing conflict sees escalating drone use, with Ukraine intercepting over 90% of Russian drones, amid significant international military support.

In a recent escalation, a Russian drone strike on Odesa led to 14 injuries, including two children, as confirmed by local officials. Five individuals were hospitalized following the attack, which targeted residential areas and infrastructure.
Concurrently, a Ukrainian drone strike in Russian-occupied Kherson resulted in the deaths of two elderly residents. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported significant drone activity from Russia, with approximately 1,900 drones and 1,400 guided bombs deployed in the past week.
Despite successfully intercepting over 90% of these drones, Ukraine requires additional American-made Patriot missiles for effective defense against ballistic threats.
