Russian Drone Units Target Ukrainian Forces in Sumy and Zaporizhzhia Regions
Russian drone units have targeted Ukrainian forces in the Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions, as reported by the Russian Defense Ministry. Using Orlan-30 reconnaissance drones, they identified and attacked Ukrainian militants near Ivolganske and destroyed military vehicles in Orekhov, supporting ongoing Russian offensive operations along the front line.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that drone operators from the 'Northern' forces targeted Ukrainian armed forces near Ivolganske in the Sumy region. An Orlan-30 reconnaissance drone detected Ukrainian militants, leading to the deployment of attack drones for their destruction.
The ministry stated that operations to eliminate Ukrainian forces continue to support the advance of Russian assault groups along the front line. Additionally, a Russian commander announced that drones targeted a convoy of Ukrainian military vehicles in Zaporizhzhia. The reconnaissance drone crew from the 3rd Assault Battalion reported the destruction of Ukrainian equipment in Orekhov by attack reconnaissance drones from the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division, utilizing Knyaz-Vandal Novgorod drones capable of penetrating enemy defenses.
