Ryan Hendrickson, a retired U.S. Army Green Beret who was injured by an IED in Afghanistan, will travel to Ukraine in April 2026 to support landmine clearance efforts. Since leaving the military in 2020, he has made 12 trips to Ukraine, providing training and mine detection equipment through his nonprofit, Tip of the Spear Landmine Removal.

His organization focuses on clearing mines from areas previously occupied by Russian forces to facilitate the return of residents. Hendrickson aims to make a significant impact on civilian safety in war-torn regions.
