Ryan Hendrickson, Injured Green Beret, to Aid Landmine Clearance in Ukraine
Ryan Hendrickson, a retired U.S. Army Green Beret injured by an IED in Afghanistan, will assist Ukrainian forces in landmine clearance. Since retiring in January 2020, he has traveled to Ukraine multiple times, delivering mine detection equipment and training through his nonprofit, Tip of the Spear Landmine Removal. His next trip is scheduled for April 2026, marking his 13th visit since the Russian invasion began on February 24, 2022.

Ryan Hendrickson, a retired U.S. Army Green Beret who was injured by an IED in Afghanistan, will travel to Ukraine in April 2026 to support landmine clearance efforts.
