Saab has secured a SEK160 million (USD17.2 million) contract from the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to deliver the Warfare Live Training Simulator System (WLTSS) for Slovakia's Ministry of Defence. The system, based on Saab's Gamer live training technology, will provide equipment for up to 725 soldiers, including laser detection and transmission devices compatible with the Slovak Armed Forces' current and future small arms.
The WLTSS features mortar and artillery simulation using augmented reality and includes facilities for exercise control and after-action review. Deliveries are scheduled for late 2026, with a leasing agreement in place for initial training.
