SAIC Challenges Accenture's $1.4B Contract for Army Corps Cybersecurity Project
Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) is contesting a $1.4 billion contract awarded to Accenture's federal subsidiary by the Army Corps of Engineers. This contract supports the Castle-Net cybersecurity initiative aimed at modernizing IT and cyber systems over five years. SAIC filed its challenge with the Government Accountability Office after completing the Defense Department's debriefing process.

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) is challenging a $1.4 billion contract awarded to Accenture Federal Services for the Army Corps of Engineers' Castle-Net cybersecurity system. The task order was issued in mid-January through the Alliant 2 procurement vehicle and is part of a five-year initiative to enhance the Corps' IT, cybersecurity, and information management services.
SAIC's challenge was filed with the Government Accountability Office following the Defense Department's enhanced debriefing process. A total of six companies, including SAIC and Accenture, submitted bids for this task order.
