The U.S. Air Force's 441st Vehicle Support Chain Operations Squadron is implementing Salesforce's Missionforce National Security to oversee its $13.5 billion fleet of over 84,000 vehicles. This software replaces an outdated fleet management system, improving logistics operations and ensuring mission readiness.
The deployment includes a suite of IL5-approved applications on Salesforce Government Cloud Plus Defense, enabling real-time visibility, streamlined asset logistics, and enhanced mission planning. With this transition, the Air Force can process over 51,000 requests, significantly reduce vehicle downtime, and simplify budgeting processes. Future AI integrations are anticipated to enhance data management further and improve operational effectiveness.
