Saltenna, Inc. has made significant strides in Q2, highlighted by a U.S. Army SBIR Phase I contract and an Export Administration Regulations (EAR) designation. The EAR designation is essential for compliance in selling to the Department of War and allied agencies, facilitating access to larger contracts.
The company also received a U.S. patent for a dual-mode antenna design, enabling transmission in both open air and metal conditions. Lab demonstrations successfully showcased Plasmonix technology in marine risers for offshore oil and gas clients. Integration with maritime platforms, including an autonomous underwater vehicle, further expands its application in defense and industrial sectors.
