Salvation Army to Begin Construction on Harbor House Expansion in Springfield, MO

The Salvation Army will start construction on the Harbor House facility in Springfield, MO, pending final building permit approval. The expansion aims to increase shelter capacity to accommodate 50 individuals and 10 medical respite beds.
Completion is expected in early to mid-2027. The overall project will cost $20 million, with $12 million allocated for the Harbor House, food pantry, and warehouse.
