SARGAD and Telangana Government Launch AeroNxt to Modernize India's Aerospace Sector
SARGAD and the Telangana government have launched AeroNxt, a $100 million initiative aimed at modernizing India's aerospace and defense manufacturing sector. Announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the program seeks to address supply chain gaps, enhance capabilities in high-precision components, and support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) while promoting job creation and skill development. AeroNxt will also establish a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Center of Excellence to facilitate access to global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

SARGAD and the government of Telangana have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish AeroNxt, a program aimed at modernizing India's aerospace and defense manufacturing ecosystem. Announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the initiative plans to deploy $100 million in the state's aerospace and defense sector over the coming years.
AeroNxt will address supply chain gaps as demand for aircraft and their maintenance grows. Its objectives include investing in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), enhancing capabilities for high-precision components, facilitating access to global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and establishing a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Center of Excellence. The initiative aims to support export growth, job creation, skill development, and the modernization of existing MSMEs.
