Saronic Completes Week-Long Autonomous Test of Corsair Vessels for U.S. Navy
Saronic successfully conducted a continuous week-long test of its 24-foot Autonomous Surface Vessel, Corsair, under contract with the U.S. Navy. The operation involved a fleet of eight Corsairs executing autonomous missions over 4,500 nautical miles and demonstrated capabilities in long-endurance operations, including a five-day loitering mission. The exercise generated valuable data for software advancement and validated Corsair's performance in challenging maritime conditions.

Saronic completed a week-long continuous test of its Corsair Autonomous Surface Vessel for the U.S. Navy, involving eight vessels operating over 4,500 nautical miles offshore. The exercise included autonomous missions with effective Beyond Line of Sight operations, validating Corsair's capabilities in long-endurance, high-efficiency operations.
Corsair demonstrated the ability to maintain position autonomously for five days, and successfully conducted multiple long-range transits validating a 1000+ nautical mile range. The operation generated around 17 TB of data for software and autonomy improvements, while also refining mission execution processes and confirming at-sea launch and recovery capabilities.
