Saskatchewan Crown Oil and Gas Offering Raises Over $17 Million
The Saskatchewan government's recent public offering for oil and natural gas generated $17.7 million in bids across 61 parcels. This reflects ongoing interest in the province's energy sector amid fluctuating market conditions.

The second Crown oil and natural gas public offering of the 2025-26 fiscal year in Saskatchewan raised $17,747,731. Companies bid on 61 parcels totaling 28,833.446 hectares, with the southeast region attracting the most revenue at $10,464,283 for 21,190 hectares.
Millennium Land (222) Ltd. secured the highest bid of $2,453,205 for a 968.896-hectare exploration license south of Estevan. Prairie Land & Investment Services Ltd. achieved the highest lease bid of $876,340.25 for a 258.053-hectare lease in the Lloydminster area.
The Kindersley region received $3,910,411 in bids, while Swift Current garnered $117,213. The next offering is slated for August 11. Factors influencing future offerings include oil prices and geological constraints, indicating potential volatility in investment.
