SATRAC Engineering Private Limited has inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Chennai with a capacity exceeding 800 units per month, raising its total production capacity to over 1,500 units monthly across its facilities in Chennai and Bengaluru. The 15-acre plant will produce trailers, tippers, truck build-ups, and special-purpose vehicles for logistics, infrastructure, and government sectors.

The facility features advanced equipment including fabrication lines, plasma cutting machines from Germany, and robotic welding systems. SATRAC plans to open three additional plants every 30 months, starting with Jamshedpur, followed by Pune and Gujarat.
