Space Base Delta 41 has commenced the Space Operations Installations Compatible Use Zones (SOICUZ) study, marking a significant step for future developments surrounding Schriever Space Force Base. This study, awarded in 2025 and slated for completion by the end of fiscal year 2026, will assess development compatibility from both mission and community perspectives, modeling after the U.S.
Air Force's AICUZ program. The assessment will include electromagnetic spectrum impacts, physical obstructions, and operational security measures concerning local technologies. Factors such as drone activities and cybersecurity will also be analyzed.
