SCJ Volunteers Manila Coordinates Tree Planting Initiative in Rizal
Shincheonji Volunteers Manila led a tree planting drive in San Mateo, Rizal, engaging 85 participants from various sectors. The event, part of Earth Month celebrations, aims to enhance environmental resilience and community livelihoods through the planting of 300 seedlings, including bamboo and fruit-bearing trees.

In a focused effort towards environmental sustainability, SCJ Volunteers Manila organized the 'Go Green, Grow Together' initiative, mobilizing 85 volunteers to plant 300 seedlings in Barangay Sta. Ana, San Mateo.
The collaboration involved the Philippine Army's 2nd Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Department of Agriculture Bureau of Plant Industry, local government units, and other civic organizations. The initiative addresses disaster resilience and community livelihoods, with bamboo planting offering long-term benefits for climate action and potential income sources.
Local residents will participate in maintaining the site, ensuring the sustainability of the project. This coordinated action exemplifies how community engagement can lead to effective environmental solutions.
