Seatrec, Precise Systems, and Airtronics Partner on Subsea Autonomous Profiler for U.S. Navy
An MOU between Seatrec, Precise Systems, and Airtronics aims to deliver Persistent Subsea Autonomous Profiler (PSAP) units for the U.S. Navy. This collaboration enhances undersea warfare capabilities and supports extended missions using innovative energy-harvesting technology.

Seatrec, Precise Systems, and Airtronics have signed an MOU to manufacture Persistent Subsea Autonomous Profiler (PSAP) units for the U.S. Navy. The partnership will establish a facility in Mississippi to integrate Seatrec's ocean energy-harvesting technology with Precise Systems' and Airtronics' engineering expertise, aiming to meet the Navy's operational requirements.
Seatrec's technology, which converts ocean temperature gradients into energy, allows for longer missions and the use of advanced sensors like hydrophones. The U.S. Southern Command is seeking initial funding for PSAP unit procurement, supported by U.S.
Northern Command and U.S. Central Command. This development could significantly enhance maritime operational capabilities and ocean domain awareness.
