Seed Innovations Ltd (AIM:SEED) has acquired approximately 3.66% equity in Fieldwork Robotics Limited through a £300,000 investment. This investment is part of Fieldwork's £2.5 million fundraising initiative, intended to facilitate the transition from technology validation to commercial trials of its autonomous harvesting systems, particularly for raspberries.
Fieldwork's robotic platform features AI-enabled 3D vision and a patented inflatable membrane for gentle fruit removal. The company is also expanding its market presence in the UK, Australia, Portugal, and the United States.
It has reported net assets of £5,540,162 for the year ending October 31, 2025, with revenue derived from various service models. The investment constitutes a Significant Transaction under AIM Rule 12.
