Sen. Dan Sullivan Advances Military Initiatives and Veteran Support in Alaska
Senator Dan Sullivan has enhanced Alaska's role as a military hub, supporting approximately 58,000 jobs and generating $3.6 billion in economic activity through military and Department of Defense operations. He secured F-35 squadrons at Eielson Air Force Base and expanded KC-135 air-refueling operations, while investing in Arctic-capable infrastructure.
Sullivan also advocates for the U.S. Coast Guard's statewide presence. His bipartisan efforts focus on improving mental health care for veterans, preventing veteran suicides, and fulfilling land allotment promises for Alaska Native Vietnam-era veterans. Additionally, he secured funding for Alaska's first veterans cemetery in Interior Alaska, ensuring veterans can be honored in their home state.
