Senate Chairman Gilani Highlights Pakistan's Progress and Unity for Development

Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani announced that Pakistan is making significant progress through coordinated domestic and foreign policies, enhancing its global image. Speaking to local PPP leaders and officials in Miranpur, he emphasized the country's defense strength and criticized those who hindered economic growth for personal gain.

He acknowledged the Pakistan Peoples Party's historic sacrifices for democracy and noted the ongoing protection of its legacy by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Gilani condemned those inciting division against state institutions and praised the Pakistan Army's role in maintaining peace. He called for unity among political parties, including PPP and PML-N, to support national development, particularly in South Punjab, where mega projects aim to eliminate regional disparities.
