Senator Capito Visits Lockheed Martin, Leidos, and WVU in North Central West Virginia
U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito toured Lockheed Martin and Leidos facilities in North Central West Virginia on January 21, discussing their contributions to defense and federal software development. She also celebrated the reinstatement of the NIOSH workforce and highlighted a collaboration between West Virginia University and BioPrecision at the Baseball Biomechanics and Performance Center.

On January 21, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito visited multiple facilities in North Central West Virginia, including Lockheed Martin in Clarksburg and Leidos in Morgantown. At Lockheed Martin, she toured the facility and discussed its support for the U.S.
Navy and the C-130J program. Senator Capito then visited Leidos' expanded 30,000 square foot facility, which employs over 300 individuals and supports software development for federal agencies. She also visited the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in Morgantown, celebrating the full reinstatement of its workforce due to her advocacy. Lastly, she toured West Virginia University's Baseball Biomechanics and Performance Center, highlighting the collaboration with BioPrecision to enhance athlete performance.
