Seraphim Space Raises Over $100 Million for New Venture Fund with UK Government Support
Seraphim Space, a UK-based space technology investment company, has successfully raised over $100 million for its latest venture fund. This fundraising effort is indicative of the growth in the space sector, propelled by rising defense expenditures globally.
With this new capital, Seraphim manages more than $550 million in assets across its private and public funds, which includes the Seraphim Space Investment Trust, whose shares have more than doubled in the past 12 months. Investors in the new fund include the British Business Bank and the UK's National Security Strategic Investment Fund, among others. The strategic importance of space infrastructure is increasingly recognized, with countries striving to enhance their own capabilities in the sector.
