Serbia and France Strengthen Cooperation on Infrastructure and EU Aspirations
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and French Minister Jean-Noel Barrot have signed a Joint Statement on the Belgrade metro project and a Memorandum for a wastewater sewer, reinforcing France's support for Serbia's EU membership. The discussions also focused on enhancing cooperation in transport, AI, defense, and environmental initiatives, while emphasizing the importance of progress in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. A roadmap for future collaboration, including Serbia's energy independence, will be developed.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with French Minister Jean-Noel Barrot to discuss Serbia's commitment to dialogue and peace, and signed a Joint Statement on the Belgrade metro project and a Memorandum for a wastewater sewer. Barrot affirmed France's support for Serbia's EU membership, highlighting the strategic partnership developed in transport, AI, and defense.
Both countries agreed to enhance cooperation in a civilian nuclear program and environmental initiatives. A roadmap for future collaboration will also be established, addressing AI and Serbia's energy independence. Barrot emphasized the need for progress in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
