Serenity Power Secures $1.16 Million CAD Pre-Seed Investment for Fuel Cell Technology Development
Serenity Power has raised $1.16 million CAD in pre-seed funding, led by Avatar Ventures, to advance its solid oxide fuel cell technology and expand its team. The funding supports the transition from laboratory validation to the development of commercial prototypes and field demonstrations.

Serenity Power has closed a pre-seed funding round totaling $1.16 million CAD to further develop its solid oxide fuel cell technology. The round, oversubscribed and led by Avatar Ventures, includes participation from Antimo, RPV, and other investors.
The funding will facilitate the creation of Serenity's first working prototype and advancements in systems engineering. Serenity has also secured approximately $900,000 CAD in non-dilutive funding. The company aims to deploy pilot projects in Italy and Alberta, transitioning from lab-scale innovations to commercial applications.
The upcoming seed round planned for Q1 2027 is expected to seek $5 million for scaling operations. Increased demand for alternative clean energy solutions highlights the relevance of Serenity's technology.
