Sergiana Invests €3.3 Million to Modernize Meat Processing Facility in Poiana Mărului
Grupul Sergiana is undertaking a €3.3 million investment to modernize its meat processing facility in Poiana Mărului, with the project expected to last 40 months. The upgrade will enhance production capabilities to 32 tons per day.
Planned enhancements include a new combined production line for mititei, minced meat, and hamburgers, increasing production capacity from 0.5 tons to 2.5 tons per day. It also involves replacing old equipment with new technology, including a filling machine, refrigeration unit, smoking cell, and steam boiler. Additional investments comprise three refrigerated transport vehicles, a modern IT system for optimizing production flow, and a photovoltaic system to reduce energy consumption.
