SGE Signs Agreements to Advance BWRX-300 Fuel Supply in Europe
Polish firm SGE has entered into agreements with ENUSA and GENUSA to enhance fuel supply chains for the BWRX-300 SMR. This move is pivotal for advancing SGE's deployment strategy across European nuclear markets, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe.

SGE has signed two agreements with ENUSA and GENUSA to bolster its fuel supply strategy for the BWRX-300 small modular reactor (SMR). The contracts aim to develop a procurement roadmap for low enriched uranium and provide consultancy and engineering support, enhancing SGE's expertise in the nuclear fuel value chain.
SGE is co-investing in the BWRX-300 design and is establishing partnerships across Central and Eastern Europe, with a flagship project in Poland expected to be operational by 2032. The agreements support the broader industrial foundation necessary for the BWRX-300's deployment, which is anticipated to contribute significantly to the European nuclear supply chain. This strategic alignment may influence future fuel procurement and delivery models in the region.
