Shaquille O'Neal's $24M Youth Complex in Las Vegas Nears Completion
The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation is developing an 87,000-square-foot youth complex in Las Vegas, aiming for a 2027 opening. Key contributions from the Raiders, UFC, and Lakers focus on enhancing community resources for local youth.

Construction of an $24 million youth complex in east Las Vegas, led by The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation, is currently 50% complete and scheduled for a 2027 opening. The 87,000-square-foot facility, near Lake Mead and Lamb boulevards, receives support from the Raiders, UFC, and the Lakers, featuring a Raiders-branded multi-sport field and an indoor basketball court in Lakers colors.
The UFC is also funding a mixed martial arts center, which will include self-defense training for local youth. A Metropolitan Police substation is planned to enhance community relations. The facility aims to address the needs of the underserved east Las Vegas area, surrounded by six schools. Naming rights for rooms are still available, with 74% of the $5.4 million goal met.
